Hello, I’m Alison, the founder of Afterglow+

I’m passionate about helping people feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.

I completed my training with the MSTA UK advanced training academy, where I successfully completed an intensive anatomy and physiology course, along with comprehensive practical training in medical grade facial treatments including microneedling, dermaplaning and chemical skin peels. My training was supported by renowned brands Dermalogica & Dermaceutic. At MSTA, there’s a strong emphasis on clinical procedures, safety and practical techniques all centred around client safety and delivering exceptional results.

I have always had a personal passion for facial skin treatments and when I turned 40 my skin took a dramatic turn and I was diagnosed with Rosacea, a skin condition that until that time I had never heard of.  It impacted my confidence dramatically and I always felt embarrassed about and stressed about how my skin looked which in turn made the condition worse.  Many of my early attempts taking and applying; antibiotics and topical antibiotics personally didn’t make a difference.
